Three nights — three trusted venues
The Family has found its weekly rhythm: every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, we meet at our regular venues across Berlin.
Our historic headquarters — Alt Berliner Biersalon on Kurfürstendamm — is closed for refurbishment until approximately May 2027. We look forward to returning home; until then, we play at trusted venues across the city.

Every night is open to everyone
Whatever the day or venue, we do not divide nights into ‘for beginners’ and ‘for pros’: every night is open to players of every experience level.
New players: arrive a little early — before the first game, the host will explain the rules, gestures and basic mechanics. After only a few games, you will feel at home around the table.

Every venue has its own conditions — and we respect them.
Bringing your own food and drink into restaurants (Fayna and others) is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. The restaurants provide their rooms on the condition that we order food and drink from them. An agreement is an agreement — that is how the Family keeps its tables.

Languages at the table
Mafia is a game built on words
That is why we handle language simply and fairly:
Fayna — Ukrainian night
A Ukrainian restaurant, Ukrainian cuisine and a Ukrainian atmosphere.
Ukrainian and/or Russian
Everyone speaks whichever language they prefer. Mixing languages in one game is normal practice and does not bother anyone.
German, English and other languages are possible only if every player at the table agrees before the game begins. If even one person does not understand the language, the game loses its purpose: you cannot analyse a speech you do not understand.
Club etiquette
Rules that protect the atmosphere
The club rules exist so that everyone feels comfortable — whether a beginner, an experienced player or simply someone looking for a welcoming place and a good atmosphere. By following them, we create a space people enjoy returning to.
- Advertising is permitted only with the club organisers’ approval.
- Food and drink are subject to the venue’s rules. Bringing your own food and drink into restaurants (Fayna and others) is STRICTLY PROHIBITED — the restaurants provide their rooms on the condition that we order everything from them. It is a fair agreement, and we honour it.
- Do not be late. Please arrive on time so that others are not kept waiting and the flow of the game is not disrupted. If you are running late, let us know.
- Respect the game space. Treat the venue, furniture, accessories and game equipment with care. Damaged game equipment incurs a €30 charge.
- Discuss the game without insults. All disputes and emotions stay within the game. Afterwards, keep the conversation friendly and respectful.
- If you register, please attend. A booking means you intend to come. If you cannot make it, tell the organiser in advance or cancel your booking. Registration for the evening closes at 15:00 on the day of the game. You may come without registering, but you can play only if someone gives up their seat.
- The main rule is a comfortable environment and courteous communication. Do not tell others how to play, criticise their style or give unsolicited advice during or after a game. Discuss the game calmly and respectfully — without pressure, belittling, lecturing, raised voices, rudeness, mockery, passive aggression or personal attacks.
